Who I am
Hi, I'm Kati! Thanks for being here!
I moved from Milwaukee, WI, to Nashville, TN, which I now proudly call home. I earned my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, with a minor in Psychology, from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and my Master's in Social Work with an emphasis in Mental Health and Addictions from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
I've had the opportunity to work across many levels of care, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, IOP, and PHP settings. These experiences have helped shape a well-rounded, compassionate, and adaptable approach to therapy.
I hold a certification in Women's Mental Health and primarily work with adults navigating mood disorders, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, women's issues, and perfectionism.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Attachment Theory. I also take a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the important role that self-care, physical health, relationships, and daily habits play in overall well-being (we talk a lotttttt about self-care in sessions).
Outside of my therapy office, Iām a big Taylor Swift fan (hence the name of my practice), love being outdoors, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my family and my dog, Crew. This work fills my cup, but I also practice what I preach, making self-care a big part of my life, too.
I look forward to connecting and walking alongside you on this journey!
